Instructions

  1. Mix the seasonings: In a small bowl, combine dried oregano, smoked paprika, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper until well blended.
  2. Prepare the chicken: Place the bone-in chicken breasts in a large mixing bowl. Pour the oil over the chicken and sprinkle the seasoning mixture on top. Toss the chicken thoroughly until every piece is evenly coated with oil and spices.
  3. Add broth and butter to slow cooker: Pour the chicken broth into the slow cooker base. Arrange the seasoned chicken breasts inside the slow cooker in a single layer. If using, place a tablespoon of butter on top of each breast to add richness.
