- Add Pasta Water and Butter: Gradually add a few spoonfuls of the reserved pasta cooking water along with the remaining tablespoon of butter. Toss the pasta continuously to achieve a glossy, silky coating. Add more pasta water as needed for consistency, but not all of it will be necessary.
- Season and Serve: Season the noodles with salt and ground black pepper to taste. Give everything a final toss and serve immediately, topped with extra Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley if desired.
