A moist and flavorful condensed milk loaf cake that’s easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion. This cake combines sweetened condensed milk with yogurt and a hint of vanilla, resulting in a tender crumb and a deliciously rich taste.

Ingredients

Scale

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

Wet Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 14oz can La Lechera Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1/2 cup plain full-fat yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup olive oil (or favorite oil)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) to warm up while you prepare the batter.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, eggs, sweetened condensed milk, yogurt, vanilla extract, and oil. Blend thoroughly until the batter is smooth and uniform.
  3. Prepare Loaf Pan: Line a loaf pan with parchment paper or grease it well with butter to prevent sticking.
  4. Pour Batter: Pour the prepared batter into the lined or greased loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool & Serve: Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

  • For best results, use full-fat yogurt to maintain moisture in the cake.
  • Olive oil is recommended for a subtle fruity flavor, but you can substitute with vegetable or canola oil.
  • Ensure the baking powder and baking soda are fresh for proper leavening.
  • The cake keeps well stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or a week refrigerated.
  • You can add nuts or dried fruits for additional texture if desired.
